Photos for Montreal Rocks

So, this was my first show for Montreal Rocks. And at the Metropolis (now, the MTelus) for that matter. I was nervous as hell…packed venue, pretty important indie rock band. I was excited but hoping I wouldn’t freeze up when they led the photogs into the photo pit for the first 3. I let the force guide me, let my event experience help me. Concerts are crazy…low light, hot light, red light (the enemy), white light, flashing light on a hazy stage, performers who flit around like butterflies and about 12 photographer jostling for position knowing we only have 3 songs to get our best shots to work with.

Anyways, it was a great experience. And the side bonus, is that I came away a fan of the band, having not really listened to much of their tunes beyond what pops up in a playlist now and then. Peace!
